As a Digital Aligner Designer at ParisAline you will specialize in designing and managing digital orthodontic aligners using advanced CAD/CAM software. You will collaborate with orthodontists to develop precise, customized aligner solutions that meet patients’ treatment goals. Your role will be crucial in transforming digital scans and impressions into effective aligner designs that enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
1. Digital Aligner Design
- Utilize CAD/CAM software and digital tools to create precise 3D models of patient dentition from digital impressions or scans.
- Develop customized aligner designs based on orthodontists' treatment plans, ensuring accuracy in tooth movement and alignment.
- Simulate treatment outcomes and make adjustments to aligner designs as needed to optimize results.
2. Collaboration
- Work closely with orthodontists to understand treatment objectives and aligner requirements.
- Review treatment plans and aligner designs with orthodontists to ensure alignment with clinical goals.
- Communicate design changes and progress effectively with the orthodontic team.
3. Quality Control
- Ensure all digital aligner designs meet clinical standards and specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on aligner designs to prevent errors and ensure high-quality output.
- Address and resolve any issues related to design accuracy or fit before aligners are manufactured.
4. Technology Management
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in digital orthodontics and aligner design technologies.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CAD/CAM software and digital imaging equipment.
- Participate in training and professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
5. Administrative Duties
- Manage digital records and documentation related to aligner designs and patient treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely and accurate aligner manufacturing.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Dental Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in orthodontics or digital design are a plus.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software and digital orthodontic tools.
- Understanding of orthodontic principles and aligner treatment protocols.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling and digital imaging techniques.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in orthodontic design software such as Invisalign ClinCheck, 3Shape, or similar platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for precise digital modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make adjustments based on clinical feedback.
